Step into the natural world with Survival Science, an immersive curriculum designed for students to gain essential wilderness skills and environmental knowledge. This course explores the six core elements of survival—food, water, shelter, security, communication, and health—while integrating studies of America's National Parks, disaster preparedness, and environmental sciences to offer a rich, real-world learning experience.

Each unit combines classroom instruction with suggested field trips locations. In addition to survival skills, students will delve into national park studies, where they’ll explore park-specific ecosystems, biomes, and the impact of human interaction on the environment. A special emphasis on disaster preparedness and natural disaster education teaches students how to respond to events such as wildfires, floods, and earthquakes. Environmental studies round out the curriculum, deepening students' knowledge of ecosystems—such as deserts, forests, and coastal areas—through direct observation and ecosystem analysis.
