Frequently Asked Questions 

All orders placed on our website are completed via paypal checkout. You may pay with your own paypal account or with a debit or credit card. We accept most major debit and credit cards.

Because we are a small business who wants to keep our prices as low as possible, one way we can keep prices down is by reducing overhead by keeping our website and order processing simple. Therefore, our website host does not have "shopping cart" capability and our buy buttons are only able to process one product at a time. You may however order multiple quantities of the same product at a time. 

If you would like to order multiple items but don't want to place several orders, you may complete our Order Form and we can send you ONE invoice with all your items on it. Once the invoice payment is received we will process your whole order.

We hope you understand our decision and apologize for any inconvenience this causes. 

All our tangible products offer "standard shipping" which would be 10-14 business day shipping. Some of our products offer "rushed shipping" which is 2-3 business days.

We are proud to say, Shipping is FREE on all products unless otherwise indicated directly on an items listing/ page. Any product that requires a shipping & handling fee will be clearly evident.

If your order has not already shipped, you can cancel your order by contacting us through our Contact Us  form. If your order has already shipped, we are unable to cancel your order and you will have to initiate a return. Please note that all PDF sales are final and non-refundable.

Returns are allowed on physical products within 10 days of delivery. If you would like to initite a return you can do so using our Contact Us form. Items must be unused and in their original state in order for returns to be approved. Refunds are processed after the returned item is received at our warehouse. 

Please note, there are no returns or refunds on digital products. All PDFs, printables, and digital files are final sale. 

Our homeschool page offers a detailed description of each level. After reviewing each one we hope you are able to decide which one is most suitable for your child. If you still arent sure, feel free to contact us using our contact us form and we would be happy to help you decide.

I'm so glad you asked! By making our products in levels, we focus more on each students individual cognitive development and ability rather than grade level. This gives parents the freedom to select a level that truly aligns with their kids learning without the pressure of "being behind" or the overconfidence that can come with "being ahead". This closes learning gaps and takes the focus off societal expectations. Our goal is to nurture their natural ability and encourage holistic learning. We believe having named levels for  our materials helps foster this organic growth.

Good question! A "standard" homeschool year is 180 days or 36 weeks. By making our resources in 12 week increments,  it gives you the freedom to switch up what your doing each trimester or to have a trial period with any one of our products without a full year long commitment on your end. Ultimately, this means more freedom and flexibility for our homeschoolers!

Should you wish to use any one of our 12-week products for a full standard school year, you can purchase our bundle packs that will give you enough materials for 180 days/ 36 weeks.

Printer friendly means all backgrounds have been removed and there are less colors on the pages. This is intended to help you save ink!

We most definitely do Custom Orders! There are a number of items in our gifts and accessories page that we are willing to customize for your someone special. Simply reach out to us via the buttons on the product page you are interested in. If there is something else you have in mind that is not listed, you can contact us through our form and we can discuss if your idea is doable! While not all requests will be doable, we will try our best to get you what you need.

Absolutely! All our Bible- based Resources are suitable for adults unless specified "for kids". Also, many adults enjoy using Backyard Schoolhouse Academy's Pioneer level products as they are made for advanced thinkers. In addition, we have also had many adults tell us that they enjoy our Investigator level products because they are more interactive and help them stay engaged! Try one for yourself!
